YEHUDIYA NATURE RESERVE

This hike is all about water: streams, falls and pools. Easy Walk down the slopes of Golan Heights you enjoy great view and unique vulcanic secenery. 

Easy to reach by bus, Recommended all year round, choose from different hike lengths you're sure to enjoy this day. 

 

Make sure to wear a hat, sunscreen and take-a-way falafel.

MT. ARBEL

If you are looking for a short circuit hike with great view of the Sea of Galilee this is it.

Above the inspiring cliffs are the remains of an ancient Synagogue, while underneath them you'll find the historic "cave fortress". 

 

There is an extended hike leading down to the Wadi Hamam village, Idealy reached by car. 

HEXAGON POOL

Vulcanic magma cooling at super fast speed created an out-of-this-world pool filled by a fresh cool water cascade. 

 

You can reach it by hiking downhill for 30 minutes from the parking lot if you arrive by car. 

Or walk the extended 5 hour hike from the main entrance to  the Yehudia Nature Reserve.

Jesus Trail

A hiking and pilgrimage route in the Galilee region of Israel that traces the route Jesus may have walked, connecting many sites from his life and ministry.

via : Capernaum, Tabgha,  Mount of Beatitudes.

Nazareth, Tzippori, Cana (Kafr Kanna), the Horns of Hattin, Mount Arbel Cliffs, the Sea of Galilee...

 

even if you are not religious its a recommended hike.

ZAKI STREAM

Zaki stream is the outlet of the Hexagon stream, runing through the Betsaida valley, at times you'll have to walk up to waist in water. 

Its abit more challenging but a real treat in a hot summer day. 

 

Take hiking shoes/sandals and water tight bags or no bags at all.

Round Kinnert Lake Hike

Follow the 3 stripes mark along the water line, passing by orchards, churches, ancient ruins and wild growth.
